Construction Projects in the Community

Since 2000, JEA has improved more than 260 miles of sanitary sewer mains using a trenchless technology known as pipe bursting. This technique allows replacement of underground pipe with minimal disruption to the surrounding community and environment. It is also more efficient that the traditional open cut method. Using trenchless technologies like pipe bursting, JEA has improved sewer service to more than 18,000 customers.

JEA Town Meeting Schedule

Most people hate surprises, especially those that may affect the way they live. Thats why Project Outreach conducts town meetings and invites customers within a project area. We provide customers with an opportunity to hear learn more about a project, including hours of operation, project duration and conditions during construction. We also would like to introduce you to the contractor and let you know what inconveniences, if any, you can expect.
